Description
A two-component, solvent-free, novolac epoxy-based floor coating with high chemical resistance for industrial floors.
Advantages
- High mechanical resistance to medium and heavy loads.
- Provides resistance to many chemicals.
- Creates a seamless surface; easy to clean and hygienic.
- No maintenance required for a long time.
Application Areas
Used for coating floors exposed to high-concentration organic/inorganic acids, alkalis, solvents and aggressive chemicals, such as factory production areas, warehouses, laboratories, wastewater treatment plants, chemical production facilities and food production areas.

Surface Preparation and Application
Surface preparation: The concrete surface must be sound and have sufficient strength. The concrete substrate must be clean and have sufficient compressive and tensile strength. The surface of the structural element to be coated must be cleaned of residues such as plaster, paint, oil and rust, as well as weak cement laitance and loose particles, and the necessary repairs must be made to obtain a smooth surface.
Application:
- Surfaces to be coated must be free of oil, rust, dust and similar contaminants. The surface must be free of moisture, and no loose layer whatsoever may remain.
- Glossy surfaces should be roughened by shot blasting, grinding or scarifying.
- The prepared concrete surface should be primed with the solvent-free epoxy impregnating primer Demco® EPOX 100 PR so that it is fully impregnated.
- Any cracks and holes in the surface must be repaired using epoxy putty.
- The chemical-resistant epoxy primer Demco® EPOX 125 PR/C is applied by brush or roller to the prepared and primed surface. If necessary, quartz is broadcast to achieve the required film thickness.
- Demco® EPOX 192 NOVOLAC is applied by roller as the topcoat.
Mixing: After component A has been stirred in its own container until homogeneous, the entire component B is poured into component A, and the two components must be mixed at low speed for approximately 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Do not mix longer than necessary, as this will entrap air bubbles in the product.
Application Conditions
The working area temperature should be 15 °C – 30 °C.
- Care should be taken to prepare only as much material as can be used within the working time.
- Substrate and ambient temperature must be between 15 °C – 30 °C during application.
- Must not be used on floors subject to rising damp or without waterproofing.
- Solvents or similar thinners must not be added to the mixture during application.
- If heating is required when applying in cold weather, only electric warm-air blower systems must be used.
- After application, Demco® EPOX 192 NOVOLAC must be protected from moisture, condensation and water for at least 24 hours.
Coverage
The recommended coverage for a single coat is 0,500 kg/m².
Storage and Shelf Life
Store in unopened original packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from frost. For short-term storage, stack no more than 3 pallets on top of each other and dispatch on a first-in, first-out basis. For long-term storage, pallets should not be stacked. Store in original, unopened and undamaged packaging in a dry environment between +5 °C and +30 °C. Protect from direct sunlight. Shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
Packaging
Total net: 20 kg (A: 16,00 kg / B: 4,00 kg) metal packaging.
