Description
Solvent-free, polyurethane-based, aliphatic, UV-resistant, hard elastic coating system developed for stone carpet applications.
Advantages
- Solvent-free, 100% solids.
- Creates a seamless, jointless floor.
- Thanks to its hard-elastic structure, it absorbs deformations that may occur in the floor.
- Resistant to UV rays and weathering.
- Resistant to detergents, oils and seawater.
Application Areas
Used as a binder in stone carpet applications made with natural stone aggregates, granular quartz and similar colored stones. By adjusting the amount used, it is a preferred binder for producing water-permeable floors. It is used in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications such as walkways, cycle paths and decorative floors.

Surface Preparation and Application
Surface preparation:
- Surfaces to be coated must be free of oil, rust, dust and similar contaminants.
- The surface to be coated must be free of moisture, and no loose layer whatsoever may remain.
- Glossy surfaces should be roughened by shot blasting, grinding or scarifying.
- The prepared concrete surface must first be primed with a suitable Demco Solvent-Free Epoxy Primer.
- Any cracks and holes in the surface must be repaired using epoxy putty.
Mixing:
- The entire component B must be poured into the component A container, and the two components must be mixed for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Mixing at low speed is recommended to prevent air bubbles from forming in the mixture.
- The prepared binder mixture is added to the pre-weighed aggregate mix at a rate of 6%-12% and mixed at low speed for about 2-3 minutes.
Application:
- The prepared aggregate-binder mix is poured onto the floor without delay and spread with a trowel or screed bar.
- The application is completed by pressing lightly with a steel trowel to obtain an even surface.
Application Conditions
- Working area temperature must be 15°C – 30°C.
- The ideal substrate temperature for application is 15°C – 30°C.
- The temperature must never fall below 10°C.
- For both outdoor and indoor applications, substrate and ambient temperature as well as ambient humidity must be taken into account.
- Substrate moisture must be below 4% and ambient humidity below 65%.
- It should not be touched or come into contact with water for 24 hours after application.
- During work, mix suitable quantities and continue working until the entire mix has been used up.
