Description
An easy-to-prepare, easy-to-apply, two-component, solvent-free, polyurethane-based elastic adhesive. It is used for bonding surfaces such as parquet, SBR rubber sports flooring, turf pitches, wood, concrete and GRP.
Advantages
- Contains no solvents. Flexible.
- High bond strength.
- Weather-resistant.
- Also suitable for underfloor heating systems.
- Due to its thixotropic properties, it levels out undulations in the floor.

Surface Preparation and Application
- Surfaces to be coated must be free of oil, rust, dust and similar contaminants. The surface must be free of moisture, and no loose layer whatsoever may remain.
- If the substrate is sheet metal, it should be primed with a suitable primer after sandblasting.
- If the surface to be coated is wood, it must be cleaned with sandpaper or a floor sanding machine, freed of dust and dried, and then primed with a suitable epoxy impregnation primer.
- If the substrate is concrete, it should be roughened by shot blasting, grinding or scarifying. The prepared concrete surface should be primed with the Solvent-Free Epoxy Impregnation Primer DEMCO EPOX 100 PR, following its application instructions, so that the substrate is impregnated.
- Any cracks and holes in the surface must be repaired using epoxy putty.
- Mixing: After mixing component A in its own container, pour the entire B component into component A and mix for at least 3 minutes until the two components form a homogeneous mixture. Mixing at low speed is recommended to prevent air bubbles from forming in the mixture.
- Thinner: Not to be thinned with thinner.
- The Polyurethane Adhesive DEMCO PUR 308 AD is poured onto the prepared and primed surface and spread with a notched trowel, after which the other surfaces to be bonded are placed.
- Depending on the application, it can be pressed for 10 – 12 hours at 23°C if required.
Application Conditions
- Working area temperature must be 15°C – 30°C.
- The ideal substrate temperature is 15°C – 30°C. The temperature must never be below 10°C.
- For indoor and outdoor applications, substrate temperature, ambient temperature and ambient humidity must be taken into account.
- The relative moisture of the substrate must be below 4% and the ambient humidity below 65%.
Coverage
Consumption varies depending on the condition of the surface to be coated.
Storage and Shelf Life
At 15 – 25°C, in dry, enclosed warehouses away from direct sunlight, in the unopened original packaging; 6 months.
Packaging
Total Net: 20 kg (A: 18,20 kg / B: 1,80 kg)
Precautions
- After bonding, it must not be touched for 24 hours and must not come into contact with water.
- During work, mix suitable quantities and continue working until the entire mix has been used up.
- When applied at 20 – 25°C, DEMCO PUR 308 AD reaches full cure at room temperature in an average of 7 days.
- After the primer coat has been applied, make sure the primer surface has become touch-dry; DEMCO PUR 308 AD should be applied after approximately 24 hours, depending on the ambient temperature.
Safety Precautions
- Avoid contact of the mixture or its components with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Wear protective gloves, clothing and goggles.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Approvals / Standards
Tested to EN 1504-2 within the scope of CE certification.
