Description
An easy-to-prepare, easy-to-apply, two-component, solvent-free, polyurethane-based elastic adhesive. Used for bonding surfaces such as parquet, sports floors, SBR rubber, turf pitches, wood, concrete and GRP.
Advantages
- Contains no solvents. Flexible.
- High bond strength.
- Weather-resistant.
- Also suitable for underfloor heating systems.
- Due to its thixotropic properties, it levels out undulations in the floor.

Surface Preparation and Application
Surface Preparation
- Surfaces to be coated must be free of oil, rust, dust and similar contaminants. The surface must be free of moisture, and no loose layer whatsoever may remain.
- If the substrate is sheet metal, it should be primed with a suitable primer after sandblasting.
- If the surface to be coated is wood, it must be cleaned with sandpaper or a floor sanding machine, freed of dust and dried, and then primed with a suitable epoxy impregnation primer.
- If the substrate is concrete, it should be roughened by shot blasting, grinding or scarifying. The prepared concrete surface should be primed with the Solvent-Free Epoxy Impregnation Primer DEMCO EPOX 100 PR, following its application instructions, so that the substrate is impregnated.
- Any cracks and holes in the surface must be repaired using epoxy putty.
Mixing
- After component A has been mixed in its own container, all of component B must be poured into component A and the two components mixed for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Mixing at low speed is recommended to prevent air bubbles from forming in the mixture.
- During work, mix suitable quantities and continue working until the entire mix has been used up.
Application
- After the primer coat has been applied, make sure the primer surface has become touch dry; depending on the ambient temperature, DEMCO PUR 309 AD should be applied after approximately 24 hours.
- The Polyurethane Adhesive DEMCO PUR 309 AD is poured onto the prepared and primed surface and spread with a notched trowel, after which the other surfaces to be bonded are placed.
- Depending on the application, it can be pressed for 10 – 12 hours at 23°C if required.
- After bonding, it must not be touched for 24 hours and must not come into contact with water.
- When applied at 20 – 25°C, DEMCO PUR 309 AD reaches full cure at room temperature in 7 days on average.
Application Conditions
- Working area temperature must be 15°C – 30°C.
- The ideal substrate temperature is 15°C – 30°C. The temperature must never be below 10°C.
- For indoor and outdoor applications, substrate temperature, ambient temperature and ambient humidity must be taken into account.
- The relative moisture of the substrate must be below 4% and the ambient humidity below 65%.
Coverage
Consumption varies depending on the condition of the surface to be coated.
Storage and Shelf Life
Store in unopened original packaging at 15 – 25°C in dry, closed warehouses away from direct sunlight. Under these conditions, shelf life is 6 months.
Packaging
Total Net: 20 kg (A: 18,00 kg / B: 2,00 kg)
Safety Precautions
- Avoid contact of the mixture or its components with skin and eyes; in case of contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Protective gloves, clothing and goggles must be worn, and the product must be kept out of reach of children.
