Description
Water-based epoxy impregnating primer. Thanks to its low viscosity, it penetrates very well into the surface to which it is applied. It increases the impact strength and chemical resistance of the treated surface. It also ensures the adhesion of subsequent coats to the surface.
Advantages
- Water-based and odorless. Environmentally friendly.
- Low viscosity and easy to apply.
- Can be used in poorly ventilated areas.
- Penetrates the capillary pores within the concrete structure.
- Provides excellent penetration into and adhesion to cement-based surfaces.
- Provides very good adhesion strength at all application temperatures.
- Being water-based, it can be applied to slightly damp surfaces.
- Thanks to its surface tolerance, it can be applied to damp surfaces.
Application Areas
- Used as a primer under all types of epoxy- and polyurethane-based coatings.
- Used to impregnate concrete surfaces and protect them against abrasion, dusting and chemicals.
- Used as a primer and bonding agent in concrete repairs.
Suitable Substrates
- Concrete surfaces.
- Cement-based substrates.

Surface Preparation and Application
- Surfaces to be coated must be free of oil, rust, dust and similar contaminants.
- Absolutely no loose layer may remain on the surface to be treated.
- Glossy surfaces should be roughened by shot blasting, grinding or scarifying.
- All of component B must be poured into component A and the two components mixed for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Mixing at low speed is recommended to prevent air bubbles from forming in the mixture.
- Applied by brush or roller to the cleaned and prepared surface.
- A suitable amount of mixture should be prepared during work, and work should continue until the entire mixture has been used.
Application Conditions
- Working area temperature must be 15°C – 30°C.
- The ideal substrate temperature is 15°C – 30°C. The temperature must never be below 10°C.
- For indoor and outdoor applications, substrate temperature, ambient temperature and ambient humidity must be taken into account.
- The relative moisture of the substrate must be below 4% and the ambient humidity below 80%.
- When applied at 20 – 25°C, the product reaches full cure at room temperature in an average of 7 days.
