Description
DEMCO® PUR 303 CONCRETE NANO ESD/WB is a medium-density, self-leveling polyurethane flooring system designed to provide maximum resistance to abrasion, chemical effects, and physical impacts. It is ideal for environments requiring an anti-static floor to control static electricity. Typical application areas: electronics manufacturing and assembly rooms, computer rooms, and cleanrooms.
It is a chemical- and mechanical-resistant, water-based antistatic polyurethane floor coating applied at a thickness of 4–5 mm.
Features
- Odorless.
- Easy to clean.
- Does not leave stains.
- High mechanical and chemical resistance.
- Excellent wear and impact resistance.
- Provides effective static control and grounding.
Application Areas
- Electronics manufacturing and assembly rooms.
- Computer rooms.

Surface Preparation and Application
Surface preparation:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, rust, dust, or any loose material.
- New concrete or cementitious substrates must be at least 28 days old and have <5% moisture.
- Proper surface preparation is critical: remove laitance, grease, oil, and contaminants by sanding, grinding, or abrasive blasting. Repair any major irregularities in the substrate.
- Since liquid systems mirror surface imperfections, grinding or light vacuum blasting is preferred over impact scraping or acid etching.
- Anchor grooves must be cut around edges, joints, columns, drains, and doorways at twice the planned coating thickness.
Adhesion primer and scratch coat:
- Apply DEMCO® PUR 303 CONCRETE NANO ESD/WB as an adhesion primer and scratch coat at a nominal thickness of up to 1 mm. Coverage depends on the texture and porosity of the concrete surface.
- Allow the scratch coat to cure for 12–48 hours at 20°C before applying the conductive primer. If curing exceeds 48 hours, abrade the surface thoroughly and reapply a new scratch coat.
- If significant air holes appear in the cured layer, corrective action must be taken before continuing.
Mixing:
- Do not add solvent. Use a high-speed, heavy-duty rotary mixer fitted with a mixing paddle.
- Pour the liquid base and colorant into a clean container and mix briefly.
- Add the antistatic additive and mix for 1 minute.
- Add the hardener and continue mixing for another minute.
- Gradually add the ESD filler while mixing for approximately 1 additional minute until a free-flowing, homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Scrape the sides and bottom of the container to ensure full blending and that no unmixed material remains.
Application:
- Immediately pour the mixture onto the floor and spread it with a notched trowel to achieve the required thickness.
- Remove entrapped air with a spiked roller within 10 minutes of application. Do not re-roll previously treated areas, as the product sets quickly and may leave surface marks.
- After completion, protect the floor from traffic and contamination using Kraft paper or another breathable material (do not use polyethylene sheeting).
- The applied floor must be protected from outside moisture, condensation, and water for at least 4 days after application.
Storage and Shelf Life
When stored in unopened packaging at 10–30°C, in a closed, dry warehouse and elevated off the ground, DEMCO® PUR 303 CONCRETE NANO ESD/WB has a shelf life of 12 months (6 months for the ESD filler). Storage outside this range or frequent temperature fluctuations may shorten shelf life. Protect from freezing.

Chemical Resistance
DEMCO® PUR 303 CONCRETE NANO ESD/WB is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including inorganic acids, fuels, hydraulic oils, mineral oils, and solvents. Good cleaning practices should always be employed. Some chemicals may cause minor staining or discoloration depending on dwell time, temperature, chemical type, and cleaning regimen. This does not affect the product's service integrity or durability.
Safety Precautions
- Read the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before use.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, wash thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
- Wear protective gloves, clothing, and goggles.
- Keep out of reach of children.
