Description
DEMCO PUR 210 is a single-component, polyurethane-based waterproofing material. It cures with atmospheric moisture to form a watertight, highly elastic membrane. It has high UV resistance and retains its elasticity under temperature changes.

Surface Preparation and Application
Surface preparation
- Surfaces to be coated must be free of oil, rust, dust and similar contaminants. The surface must be free of moisture, and no loose layer whatsoever may remain.
- If the surface to be coated is sheet metal, it should be primed with a suitable primer after sandblasting.
- If the substrate is concrete, the surface should be roughened by shot blasting, grinding or milling.
- The prepared concrete surface must be primed with the Solvent-Free Epoxy Impregnating Primer DEMCO EPOX 100 PR, following the application instructions, so that it is fully impregnated.
- Any cracks and holes in the surface must be repaired using epoxy putty.
Mixing and thinning
- The product must be mixed in its container with a low-speed power mixer for at least 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Mixing at low speed is recommended to prevent air bubbles from forming in the mixture.
- The product is thinned with PUR 1000 THINNER polyurethane thinner at a maximum of 5-10%.
Application
- After the primer coat has been applied, make sure that the primer surface has become touch-dry; DEMCO PUR 210 should be applied approximately 24 hours later, depending on the ambient temperature.
Application Conditions
- Working area temperature must be 15°C – 30°C.
- For indoor and outdoor applications, substrate temperature, ambient temperature and ambient humidity must be taken into account.
- The relative moisture of the substrate must be below 4% and the ambient humidity below 65%.

Storage and Shelf Life

Precautions
- After bonding, it must not be touched for 24 hours and must not come into contact with water.
- Once the container has been opened, the product should be used up within a short time. The reaction continues even if the lid is closed, and the product may harden in its packaging.
- When applied at 20 – 25°C, DEMCO PUR 210 reaches full cure at room temperature in 7 days on average.

- Wear protective gloves, clothing and goggles.
