Description
Solvent-free, epoxy-based, antistatic (semi-conductive), textured (non-slip) surface flooring material. Used for flooring applications where high mechanical strength, slip resistance and antistatic properties are required. It is especially used in laboratories related to the healthcare sector and in areas where electrical and electronic components are manufactured.
Advantages
- Resistant to abrasion and wear.
- Transfers static electricity on the surface to the conductors beneath, ensuring grounding.
- Seamless surface, easy to clean, hygienic, and requires low maintenance.
- Provides a non-slip surface due to its textured finish.
Application Areas
- Floors where high mechanical strength, slip resistance and antistatic properties are required.
- Laboratories related to the healthcare sector.
- Areas where electrical and electronic components are manufactured.

Surface Preparation and Application
Surface preparation: The surfaces to be treated must be free from oil, rust, dust and similar contaminants. The application surface must be dry, and no loose layers should remain. Glossy surfaces should be roughened by shot blasting, grinding or milling.
Priming: Depending on the structural condition of the concrete, it is recommended to apply a suitable primer selected from the DEMMERG KİMYA concrete primer products. Apply the epoxy conductive primer DEMCO EPOX 195 PR/CONDUCTIVE onto the primed surface using the flat side of a trowel.
Mixing: After component A has been stirred in its original container, pour the entire contents of component B into component A and mix for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Mixing at low speed is recommended to prevent air bubbles from forming in the mixture.
Application: After the conductive primer has dried, spread DEMCO EPOX 2160 TIX ESD evenly over the entire surface with a trowel at a uniform consumption rate, then finish by back-rolling with a spiked roller to obtain a homogeneous coating.
WARNING! Ensure that the conductors connected to the grounding line are completely covered beneath the epoxy conductive primer and the topcoat.
Thinner: Do not dilute with thinner.
Application Conditions
- The application area temperature should be between 15°C and 30°C.
- The ideal temperature of the surface to be coated is 15°C – 30°C.
- The temperature must never fall below 10°C.
- For both indoor and outdoor applications, take the substrate, the ambient temperature and the ambient humidity into account.
- Do not add solvents or other thinners to the mixture during application.
- The substrate moisture content should be below 4%, and the ambient humidity should be below 80%.
- Do not touch the surface or allow it to come into contact with water for 24 hours after application.
- Prepare only as much mixture as can be used within the pot life, and continue working without interruption until the mixture is fully consumed.
- When applied at 20–25°C, DEMCO EPOX 2160 TIX ESD reaches full cure at room temperature in approximately 7 days.
Coverage
0.600–0.700 kg/m² in a single application.
