Description
Solvent-free, epoxy-based conductive primer. It is used as a conductive primer under conductive self-leveling systems, paints and coatings. It increases the strength of the surface to which it is applied. It also ensures the adhesion of subsequent coats to the surface.
Advantages
- Contains no solvents.
- Thanks to its thixotropic structure, it fills and levels cracks, voids and fractures within the concrete structure.

Surface Preparation and Application
- Surfaces to be coated must be free of oil, rust, dust and similar contaminants. The surface must be free of moisture, and no loose layer whatsoever may remain.
- Glossy surfaces should be roughened by shot blasting, grinding or scarifying.
- Depending on the structural condition of the concrete, priming is recommended with one of the suitable CONCRETE PRIMER products in the DEMMERG CHEMICALS range.
- The prepared concrete surface must be primed with the Solvent-Free Epoxy Impregnating Primer DEMCO EPOX 100 PR, following the application instructions, so that it is fully impregnated.
- Any cracks and holes in the surface must be repaired using epoxy putty.
- Mixing: The entire B component should be poured into the A component, and the two components should be mixed for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is formed. Mixing at low speed is recommended to prevent air bubbles from forming in the mixture.
- After 8 – 10 hours, the Solvent-Free Epoxy Conductive Primer DEMCO EPOX 195 PR/CONDUCTIVE is applied onto the prepared and primed surface with the flat side of the trowel. If necessary, it is back-rolled.
- After 12 – 16 hours, the conductive epoxy self-leveling coating, paint or conductive coating is applied.
CAUTION! Make sure that the conductors connected to the grounding line are completely covered by the epoxy conductive primer.
Thinner: Not to be thinned with thinner.
Application Conditions
Working area temperature must be 15°C – 30°C.
Coverage
A consumption of 0,200 – 0,300 kg/m² per coat gives a film thickness of approximately 150 – 200 µm.
Storage and Shelf Life
At 15 – 25°C in dry, closed warehouses away from direct sunlight, in unopened original packaging; 1 year.
Packaging
Total Net: 20 kg (A: 17,60 kg / B: 2,40 kg)
Safety Precautions
Avoid contact of the mixture or its components with skin and eyes; in case of contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear protective gloves, clothing and goggles, and keep the product out of the reach of children. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Precautions
- The ideal substrate temperature is 15°C – 30°C. The temperature must never be below 10°C.
- For indoor and outdoor applications, substrate temperature, ambient temperature and ambient humidity must be taken into account.
- The relative moisture of the substrate must be below 4% and the ambient humidity below 80%.
- For 24 hours after application, the surface must not be touched or come into contact with water.
- A suitable amount of mixture should be prepared during work, and work should continue until the entire mixture has been used.
- When applied at 20 – 25°C, DEMCO EPOX 195 PR/CONDUCTIVE reaches full cure at room temperature in an average of 7 days.
Approvals / Standards
Tested to EN 1504-2 within the scope of CE certification.
