Description
DEMCO EPOX 121 CARBON FIBER RESIN is a two-component, solvent-free, epoxy-based lamination resin. It is used to adhere carbon fiber onto concrete or wood columns and beams for building reinforcement.

Surface Preparation and Application
- Cracks in the concrete beams and columns to be treated must be repaired and their injection completed before application.
- Mixing: Pour the whole of component B into the container of component A and mix with a mixer for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. A low mixer speed is recommended to avoid air bubbles in the mixture.
- Do not add any thinner.
- First impregnate the surface, then apply the carbon fiber impregnated with DEMCO EPOX 121 CARBON FIBER RESIN onto the surface.
- If the columns and beams are going to be plastered, roughen DEMCO EPOX 121 CARBON FIBER RESIN by spreading quartz sand onto it.
Application Conditions
- The temperature in the working area should be between 15°C and 30°C.
- The temperature of the surface to be treated must be between 15°C and 30°C and must never be below 10°C.
- For indoor and outdoor applications, attention must be paid to the substrate temperature, ambient temperature and ambient humidity.
- The moisture content of the substrate must be below 4% and the relative ambient humidity below 80%.
- The application area must not be touched or come into contact with water until 24 hours have passed after application.
- Mix only as much product as is needed for the application, and do not stop the application until the whole mixture has been used.
- The complete curing time of DEMCO EPOX 121 CARBON FIBER RESIN at 20°C – 25°C is approximately 7 days.

Storage and Shelf Life
It should be kept in its original, unopened package and in closed and dry places, which are at 15 – 25°C. It must not stay under direct sunlight. Under these conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.

- Avoid contact of the mixture or its components with the skin and eyes.
- In case of skin contact, wash with plenty of water.
- In case of eye contact, rinse with water and seek medical attention immediately.
