Description
A one-component, solvent-based road line paint based on alkyd resin. Alkyd Road Line Paint has been developed for marking control lines on roads, curbs and pedestrian crossings. It can be applied to asphalt and concrete.
Advantages
- Used for line striping and marking of urban and intercity roads, airports, car parks, warehouses and all kinds of areas.
- Thanks to its high durability, it retains its reflectivity, color and film thickness for a long time under heavy traffic. Its UV resistance and chemical resistance are very high.
- Applied to surfaces by spraying, it reflects light thanks to the glass beads broadcast onto it. Any desired color can be obtained depending on the pigment used.

Surface Preparation and Application
- Surface preparation: Before application, ensure that the surface to be coated is dry, dust-free and free of oil and other contaminants. Removing any existing paint on the road is recommended.
- The paint should be mixed thoroughly before use.
- Application method: It is recommended to spray it onto the road surface with automatic application equipment and to drop glass beads on top. If necessary, it can also be applied by brush or roller.
- Thinning: The product is supplied at application viscosity, so no thinning is required. If necessary, thin by 3–5% with DEMCO® road line paint thinner.
- Cleaning: After each application, clean the application tools with DEMCO® ALD 700 Road Line Paint Thinner.
Application Conditions
- The ambient temperature during application must be between 5°C and 35°C.
- Paints should not be applied in very hot or very cold conditions.
