Description
DEMCO® 930 is a two-component, solvent-free, epoxy-based thixotropic adhesive designed for structural strengthening.
Advantages
- Easy to mix and apply.
- Thanks to its thixotropic properties, it can be applied to vertical and overhead surfaces without running or sagging.
- High mechanical strength and structural bond strength.
- As the components are different colors, the mix can easily be checked visually.
- Impermeable to water and moisture.
- Resistant to environmental influences.
Application Areas
DEMCO® 930 is used for the strong bonding of plates used in structural strengthening to concrete and similar surfaces.

Surface Preparation and Application
Surface preparation: The surface of the structural element to be treated must be cleaned of residues such as plaster, paint, oil and rust, as well as weak cement laitance and weak particles, and any necessary repairs must be carried out to obtain a smooth surface.
Mixing: All of component B must be poured into component A, and components A+B must be mixed with a low-speed mixer (approx. 300 rpm) and a suitable mixing paddle for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, making sure that no unmixed material remains on the sides and bottom of the container. Take care to avoid air bubbles during mixing. Mix only as much material as can be used within the pot life.
Application Conditions
- The ambient temperature during application should be between +10 °C and +35 °C.
- DEMCO® 930 is supplied in ready-to-use sets. Solvents or similar thinning agents must not be added to the mixture during application.
- Care should be taken to prepare only as much material as can be used within the working time.
- Mixing must always be carried out using suitable mechanical mixers. Do not mix by hand.
- For special cases not covered in the technical data sheet (different application areas, weather conditions, etc.), consult the Demmerg Chemicals technical team.
